Annie has been working remotely since 1997. Her first "home office" was the dinette of an RV, with an internet connection fueled by a 33k modem.

After eight years working as a website designer and developer, she started 9 Planets Web Design in 2005. Over the years she's worked with clients across multiple continents: small businesses, local governments, large international organizations. Her focus is on websites that are structured, accessible, and built to last.

She leads strategy and architecture on every project, which in practice means taking a client's ideas, priorities, and content and turning them into a plan the whole team can build from.

Sara fell into project management and never looked back. She manages timelines, budgets, and all the moving pieces that keep a web project on track, including the ones clients never see. She genuinely loves watching a site go from a rough idea to a finished product — especially that moment when a client sees it come together and feels like their vision actually made it to the page.

She's worked with all kinds of clients and businesses, and brings the same energy to all of them: friendly, adaptable, and focused on making the process feel less overwhelming than it sounds. When she's not wrangling projects, she's probably traveling or being bossed around by her two dogs.

Paul has been with 9 Planets since 2005. He works in WordPress, PHP, ColdFusion, MySQL, MSSQL, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and, in his own words, "all that fun stuff."

He writes clean, modular, easily maintainable CSS using methodologies like BEM, and is committed to building accessible, mobile-responsive websites that comply with WCAG standards. Quietly opinionated; quietly excellent.
