Lane County Violence Prevention Coalition
Project Overview
The Lane County Violence Prevention Coalition brings together organizations, resources, and community members to advance safety and equity across Lane County.

The Challenge
LCVPC came to us with no existing web presence — no domain, no CMS, no infrastructure of any kind. The coalition needed a central platform to serve both the public and its member organizations: a place to share community resources, post events, facilitate coalition participation, and connect visitors with the right support. The build required thoughtful site architecture, custom content management functionality, and multi-language support to reflect the diverse communities LCVPC serves.
Outcome
We designed and built a new WordPress site, anchored by a filterable Prevention Library — a custom resource guide that allows visitors to browse and surface relevant community programs and services by category. Alongside the library, we built an events calendar with category filtering, embedded intake and participation forms, and an About page featuring the coalition’s six core partner organizations.
To support LCVPC’s linguistically diverse audience, we configured a language switcher with support for Spanish, Chinese, French, Russian, and Vietnamese, among others. The site launched December 1, 2025, with multiple staff members and partner organization contacts onboarded as WordPress Editors. We provided video training for ongoing resource management, and assisted with post-launch MailChimp domain authentication to support the coalition’s email outreach.
