Project Overview

The Conejo Open Space Conservation Agency manages nearly 15,250 acres of public land that serves as both vital wildlife refuge and outdoor recreation space.

The Challenge

Their business model requires striking a balance between drawing ever greater numbers of visitors and volunteers to the open spaces while protecting the endangered plants and animals that rely on these nature preserves. COSCA was up to the challenge and came to us prepared with a new logo and branding materials.

Outcome

At 9 Planets Web Design, our goal was two-fold.
Our first goal was help them reach a larger audience through:

• Social media integration
• Website visibility / SEO
• Training to help staff easily update the site on their own

Secondly, we aimed to help COSCA effectively communicate their ethics, safety regulations, and best practices to all of these new visitors to the site.
We did this by focusing on:

• User-friendly web experience for visitors
• Accessibility
• Design and formatting to bring attention to the right information
