Project Overview

Amanda Reed captures life's most fleeting moments — maternity, birth, and family sessions made with natural light, on location, without props.

The Challenge

The existing site had accumulated years of content without a clear structure: broad gallery categories that didn’t reflect how clients search, and a blog archive of 300+ posts with no connection to the services they described. The site had no dedicated pages for birth photography or Fresh 48 sessions — categories Amanda was actively trying to grow — and no keyword architecture to support local search visibility. It was easy to navigate but doing little work to bring in new clients.

Outcome

We rebuilt the site around session type, giving each category — Maternity, Birth/Fresh 48/Newborn, Family & Child, Seniors, and Documentary & Events — its own dedicated page with curated gallery, pricing, and SEO-optimized copy. Relevant blog posts were carried forward and linked from each session page, connecting existing content to the services it supported.

The homepage received a full-bleed hero image with overlaying navigation, a short About section, and a live Instagram feed — keeping recent work visible without requiring manual gallery updates. An Investment page with a visual session grid provides a clean pricing overview with direct links into each session type.
